Leading UK meetings and events trade show, The Meetings Show, is returning to Olympia London on 26 and 27 June 2019, with a packed programme of engaging education alongside the main exhibition.
The annual event brings together more than 4,500 industry professionals from across UK and internationally, for an unmissable opportunity to find inspiration for their upcoming events, network with peers and learn from experts across a wide variety of fields. The Meetings Show’s main education programme takes place throughout the two days of the show, with more than 40 hours of free-to-attend sessions on the show floor.
As in 2018, there will also be a one-day Pre-Show Conference taking place on Tuesday 25 June, which is exclusively open to those who have applied for and been accepted onto The Meetings Show’s hosted buyer programme.
The theme of this year’s education programme will be ‘the event planning journey’, which will be split into seven stages, ensuring no matter what level you’re at or what your job role is, there will be something that inspires you.
The seven stages being covered are Sharpening Your Event Skills, Creating and Communicating the Vision, Textbook Planning, Making Your Events Memorable, Getting People There, The Bigger Picture and The Pat on the Back. From festivalisation, gamification and creativity to sustainability, social media and ROI, the programme will highlight all the latest trends and provide you with the information you need for the year ahead.
Engagement at events is key and The Meetings Show is going to be leading by example with education sessions delivered in a variety of innovative formats, as well as featuring keynotes and one-on-one advice sessions with experts.
Elsewhere at the show, visitors will have the chance to meet with exhibitors from around the world, including destinations, venues, hotels and technology suppliers, bringing together all the inspiration you need for your next event under one roof.
Hosted buyers will also have the opportunity to register for one of three post-show fam trips to
Aberdeen, Brighton or Bristol, to experience the leading UK destinations first hand.
Registration is open now for both hosted buyers and visitor buyers. For more information, visit
