Organisers of International Confex have received outstanding exhibitor and visitor feedback for the show, despite the exhibition suffering from some of the worst weather conditions in 30 years. A new outdoor event space has been unveiled in the grounds of one of London’s most iconic attractions. For the first time in its history, IWM London, which uses permanent and temporary exhibitions to tell the story of those whose lives have been shaped by conflict over the past century, has opened its grounds for private hire, with a newly created terrace area.
The Association of Event Venues (AEV) has announced that its 2018 conference, built on the theme of ‘Tomorrow’s World’, will be held at ExCeL London on 28 June.

Congress Centre is pleased to announce the opening of a brand new space at the venue – The Congress Suite – following extensive renovations over the summer. The completion of the new room has been carried out ahead of Elizabeth Line services commencing in late 2018 from nearby Tottenham Court Road tube station, just two minutes’ walk from the mid-century modern venue, which will allow direct access to Heathrow in around 30 minutes.
