Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) is to celebrate its silver anniversary with the city's largest charity dinner dance this year.
The Aberdeen venue will hold a 25th anniversary birthday party on September 25th, where 2009's X Factor runner-up Olly Murs and The Dangleberries will perform.
To coincide with the silver anniversary, the AECC is planning to raise £25,000 for Cancer Link Aberdeen and North (CLAN).
Brian Horsburgh, AECC managing director, said: "AECC is thrilled to be celebrating 25 years in business. We have been lucky to receive support from the local community for 25 years and want to show our appreciation for that support by giving something back to the community by teaming up with CLAN to raise money for their new local headquarters and haven.
"Over the years we have had a huge variety of acts play at the AECC. We aim to reflect this in the variety of entertainment at our charity dinner dance."
The AECC has event space for concerts, meetings, conferences and banquets.
