Judith Day has joined Doncaster Racecourse Exhibition and Conference Centre as business development manager. A well known figure in the venue world, day has had stints at Sandown Park and more recently at Stoneleigh Park.
“I’m joining a great team who are all excited about the expanded "exhibitions":http://www.venues.org.uk/searches/exhibition_venues.asp accommodation and brand new "conference":http://www.venues.org.uk/searches/conference_centres_venues.asp amenities we will soon be able to offer,” she says. “An encouraging number of clients who used the centre before the current rebuild, are already coming back in the knowledge that they can grow their exhibition events and provide lots of added-value services in terms of new conference accommodation, and an enticing array of special reception, catering, technological and bar services. And, we have been able to introduce prospective clients to a totally “new” northern venue, providing a counterpart to successful southern shows.”
