In collaboration with Michelin-starred chef and restaurateur, Raymond Blanc, the "sporting venue":http://www.venues.org.uk/searches/sporting_venues.asp is opening its doors on non-matchdays for private meetings and events.
The Diamond Club was designed to provide 84 invitation-only members with one of the most luxurious sports hospitality offerings. The suite encapsulates the quality, craftsmanship and tradition of the Art Deco period. Utilising solid dark walnut panelling, terrazzo metal work and polished plaster walls, the décor harks back to Arsenal’s 1930s glory days with a modern twist. Blanc was closely involved in the design of the suite, imparting his extensive luxury restaurant knowledge to create a distinctive environment conducive to private dining and celebratory events.
Diamond Club is now available for conferences and meetings for up to 80 delegates, banqueting events for 140 and receptions for 200. Comprising an open-plan restaurant area, private dining booths, armchair lounge and a fabulous back lit onyx bar with perfect pitch views, the refined suite offers versatility to suit all styles of events from dinners, parties and discreet meetings.
In partnership with Delaware North, Arsenal’s exclusive catering partner, there are two levels of catering available with Blanc personally being available or the Diamond Club head chef and Blanc protégé, Robin Gill.
“I have been involved with Diamond Club since its conception in March 2006,” said Blanc. “Creating the unique restaurant in one of the world’s greatest football stadia has been a fantastic privilege for me. I am delighted to be extending the scope of this exciting concept to Arsenal’s prestigious conference and banqueting offer and I look forward to assisting in creating events which will have a lasting impression.”
Commenting on the new Diamond Club Conference and Banqueting offer, Arsenal’s managing director Keith Edelman said: “What makes this offer exceptional is the combination of top flight cuisine cooked by a culinary genius, the luxurious setting of the Diamond Club, within such a unique venue as Emirates Stadium.”
