International Confex has unveiled its heavy weight education programme which will see four content-themed seminar theatres packed with authoritative and inspirational content.
“Education remains a key reason for visitors to come to International Confex and I’m delighted with the breadth and quality of content available this year,” said Jonny Sullens, Portfolio Director, International Confex.
The comprehensive and visitor specific programme will see high profile speakers join industry thought leaders to present engaging, industry driven content throughout the Business & Corporate Theatre, Organising & Production Theatre, Marketing & Agency Theatre and Best of British showcase theatre.
Motivational presentations will complement practical sessions with talks on the digital age and latest technologies, the Hybrid Age and the Future of Cities, customer service exercises, global citizenship and the forthcoming Olympic Games.
Association Day returns to Confex offering practical guidance to organisers of association meetings, whilst PA Day will include a keynote from entrepreneur Jo Malone with sessions on relationship management and effective decision-making.
There is also an Awards Day programme aimed at those creating Award events, the International Congress Market Conference, and a Local Authority Programme aimed at governmental event organisers. In conjunction with International Confex, the Virtual & Hybrid Events Conference will take place for the very first time, addressing how digital and virtual platforms will influence the future of the event industry.
“2012 is lining up to be a massive showcase for the UK events industry, and it is the responsibility of International Confex to be the conduit of professional and industry development. We have provided the right mix of inspirational content, practical advice and insight into the latest trends and development affecting the industry,” concludes Sullens.
