Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) has been announced as the official News Café sponsor at International Confex 2008.
Commenting on the announcement event director Duncan Reid said: “We are delighted that the EICC will be the first ever sponsor of our press office. Once again the News Café will be on the show floor and will be a perfect setting for media and exhibitors to interact. This further highlights the importance we place on having a strong media presence at our events.”
Sandy Pearson, marketing manager, EICC added: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the News Café. We recognised the success of the first ever digital press office last year, and the scrapping of the paper press pack really fits in with our environmental policies.”
The News Café will again be digitally run; press packs will be replaced by digital information downloadable via a branded USB stick.
