Production team staff at The International Centre, Telford, have stars in their eyes thanks to their latest investment in new technology.
The team from tic Stagecraft now has a full-colour RGB LED star cloth designed to create spectacular backdrops for a wide range of events.
“The new Spectrum star cloth is controlled by DMX 512 protocol and 12 channel technology, which allows us to match up to 95% of colours,” said Gerald Salt, for the in-house company. “This means we can match company logo colours to help ensure the theme of the event is clearly visible.
“We’ve invested over £120,000 in the new equipment,” he continued, “and it’s an extremely exciting new addition to our services.
“We’re looking forward to encouraging existing and new clients to make the most of the technology that we now have available, and to use the star cloth to add some real sparkle to their events.”
tic Stagecraft technicians have all received specialist training in every aspect of rigging and the control of the star cloth to ensure installation and management of the cloth is safe and effective. The team offers full event production and management facilities, or dry hire of equipment.
