Visit London has rejoined The British Association of Conference Destinations (BACD) has announced that Visit London, the trade association that represents conference destination marketing organisations in the British Isles.
“Visit London is delighted to be rejoining BACD,” says David Hornby, Visit London commercial director. “With the wider international organisation of DMAI supporting this, London is keen to play its role in destination marketing development in the UK as well as globally. We recognise the changes BACD is making in its strategy and we look forward to hearing more in the near future about their vision for the association and the industry in the UK.”
The chair of the BACD, Sue Stuart, agrees.
“Having our capital city represented within BACD membership, particularly with the approach of the 2012 Games, is crucial and we are therefore delighted that Visit London has made the decision to rejoin BACD,” she says.
