Merlin Events has teamed up with Sternberg Clarke to launch ‘The Kate Factor’, the search for the nation’s next Kate Middleton lookalike. There is no doubt The Duchess of Cambridge’s popularity has soared seeing her dubbed as the nation’s sweetheart.
Michael Aldridge, General Manager of Merlin Events London said “2012 is the year for the UK with Olympic and Paralympic Games coupled with the Diamond Jubilee celebrations. More requests are coming through for organisers wishing to add a quintessentially British twist to their events with an appearance from The Duchess of Cambridge. We decided it was the perfect time to find the next Kate Middleton lookalike and have launched ‘The Kate Factor’.”
The search for the next Kate Middleton lookalike is now on! Those who’ve got 'The Kate Factor' can upload their photos to the Merlin Events Facebook page by 3rd August 2012. Pictures will be saved in a specially created album and the winner will be featured in *Sternberg Clarke’s Act Directory with her own profile page. The winning Kate will have her first photo opportunity at ‘Pimms with Kate’ drinks reception; where she’ll entertain competition winners in their office alongside a Merlin waiter serving glasses of Pimms.
