Nottingham Arena is going the extra mile for visitors by joining forces with Metro Car Parks Ltd, which means that any gig goers driving into the city for an event will now be able to make use of a unique new park and ride facility.
Visitors can leave their vehicles in the secure Metro Car Park on Huntingdon Street and then a catch a free shuttle bus straight to and from the Arena.
The bus will make a loop from the car park to the Arena every 10 minutes ensuring that getting to the venue is as easy and quick as possible. Evening parking rates are just £2.50 and you can pre-pay at the car park office, this means you can avoid the queues at the end of the night after the show.
Geoff Huckstep, chief executive at Nottingham Arena, said: “We’re the only concert venue in the country to be offering this service to our customers and so far it’s been a great success. We’re constantly striving for ways to improve the experience for visitors when they come to Nottingham Arena and add to the value they get from our city centre location.”
