Whittlebury Hall Hotel in Northamptonshire has launched an innovative marketing initiative to attract corporate business in response to recent employee research.
To capitalise on its award-winning spa facilities, it has introduced a Spa Gift Card following the publication of a survey by Prudential Insurance showing that employees involved in a corporate health programme took an average of five sick days less each year than those who weren’t.
The Spa Gift Card can be bought as a staff incentive, Christmas gift or exchanged for health club membership, uploaded with either money or spa packages.
“Startling figures from the Work Foundation show that average absence rates across Britain have reached an all time high,” said Whittlebury Hall’s group sales manager Marc Webster. “The Spa Gift Card will give employers the chance to reward their staff in a way that will keep them happy and healthy, which can only mean their business will also benefit.”
