The Resort is home to a luxuriously appointed 143 bedroom, four star hotel once part of the estate of Hensol Castle – a 17th century stately home.

Although worlds away from the city bustle, business delegates feature prominently on the hotel’s agenda, with superb facilities and packages to suit a client’s every need. This offering has now been vastly improved with the opening of one of the largest conference centres in South Wales. Now able to accommodate 700 delegates for a conference and 400 for a banquet, the new centre also boasts an impressive number of break-out rooms, a brasserie style restaurant and bar. This, in addition to existing facilities positions the Vale Resort as a leading UK conference destination venue.

The choice of 10 multi-functional meeting and conference suites along with a 3,000 sq mt indoor exhibition arena have been designed with your business in mind and can be tailored to suit your specific requirements.

Each room benefits from natural daylight, is fully air-conditioned and can be adapted to your groups individual needs. Our technical support ranges from the provision of specific seating plans through bespoke sound and visual systems, to building backdrops and complete exhibition sets.

Our recently opened Vale Bar & Grill which provides a sumptuous “Best of Welsh” menu using fresh, locally sourced, produce including award winning Welsh Black Beef.

In addition, the Vale is home to two championship golf courses, the acclaimed 7,433 yard Wales National and the Lake – further boosting Wales’ reputation as an elite golfing destination in the build up to the 2010 Ryder Cup.
