The University of Sheffield's first carbon negative building opened in April 2023, The Wave features a host of lecture theatres, meeting rooms and exhibition spaces perfect for your next event. There are 3 large theatres on the ground floor, Lecture Theatre 1 is the largest, which holds up to 400 guests and Lecture Theatres 2 & 3 have a capacity of x240, there are also Work Rooms 1 & 2 on the ground floor, both flat floor spaces with a cabaret style set up and capacity for 140 guests, and a further 2 upstairs, each with capacity for 120 guests, plus an additional x16 break out rooms with capacities ranging from x10 to x80 people. There is also the bright and airy atrium area, flooded with natural light from the impressive glass ceiling which can be used as a catering & exhibition space.
